 3. Made sure all the lab computers have antivirus software in advance of university IT audit on 11/17. Failed miserably on Linux, because AV makers just don't give a crap.
 4. Looked into installing Shiny Server on www, but no initial luck, because it's packaged for the 2012 Ubuntu LTS with a pre-[[http://heartbleed.com/|Heartbleed]] SSL package and Debian refuses to install it. The build process looks... painful.
 5. Initial full version of language survey. Still needs some cleanup and made into something that others can just include in their HITs.
 6. Dealt with scheduled Health and Safety inspection that I wasn't told about until they came to the door looking for Florian.
 7. Started figuring out how to use [[https://www.docker.com/|Docker]] because the system [[http://couchdb.apache.org/|CouchDB]] on www is screwed up.

 1. Chatted with [[http://mikabr.github.io/|Mika Braginsky]] (aka the person responsible for the super sweet [[http://wordbank.stanford.edu/|wordbank]] site) of Mike Frank's lab, she's applying to UR to work with Steve. She seems cool and smart, so I look forward to seeing her at interviews.
 1. Hung out a bit with [[http://www.brockferguson.com/|Brock Ferguson]] who is apparently looking for a post-doc and has once expressed interest in being at UR (though admittedly, despite originally being from SW Ontario he's now mostly based in the PNW). He wrote a nice little package to analyze eyetracking data in R (see: his page), and designs super great studies.
