Deserves a mention--I hadn't heard of it before and don't see it cited: "Constraints on the Transfer of Perceptual Learning in Accented Speech". Eisner, Melinger & Weber (2013) (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3612694/)

They see that listeners generalize L1 Dutch stop devoicing to other Dutch speakers, but not to British-accented speakers doing the same thing. Just further confirmation of some ideas the lab has talked about. --ZJB

 1. '''Wrote''' blog post about special issue release. Just waiting for TOC to be added.
 1. '''Edited''' Pajak et al and had some back and forth with the new editor of ''Language Learning'', who suddenly wanted the manuscript cut by 50% (then 40%, then 30%), although the paper had already been accepted by the previous editor. I guess one lecture from this is to never wait so long that a new editor takes over. Sigh.
 1. '''Edited''' Hume et al.
 1. '''Edited''' [[https://www.hlp.rochester.edu/resources/BCS152-Tutorial/BCSFrontpage.html | tutorial for BCS 152]]. Edited through the first three main pages and '''wrote''' a lot of new sections.
 1. Letters (one new and a few slightly edited versions).
 1. Outline grant proposal for CUHK-Rochester collaboration.
