What we did over last week

Edited handbook chapter on signal reduction with Esteban. So far we have received and integrated feedback from Mirjam Ernestus, Meghan Sumner, Uriel Cohen Priva, Inbal Arnon, Dan Jurafsky, and Matt Goldrick. As part of that I read/browsed quite a few papers on the relation between phonetic and phonological reduction --some of which are eerily related to the review I mention below.

Reviewed a paper on pronunciation variation for Cognition. Met with Esteban and Kodi and had fun thinking through the pros and cons of the paper. Wrote the review and sent it to Este-Kode for feedback.
Declined one review for Frontiers.
Was invited to participate in a commentary on Bayesian pragmatic. To be precise, Juergen Bohnemeyer was invited and then invited me. Apparently, there's a paper by Gerhard Jaeger and Michael Francke that talks about the use of Bayes Theorem in pragmatics. Perhaps others in the lab are interested?
