For Florian's project on Redundancy and Syntactic Reduction-

1. Work with Camber & Jeremy on annotation for the studies on subject-extracted passive relative clauses in the British National Corpus, following these guidelines: ["HlpLab/Projects/SyntacticReduction/Annotation"].

2. Continue to annotate in sets of 500 per person until we have a set of at least 20,000 'useable' sentences, that is, those which have not been excluded for various reasons.

3. Anticipate more work!

I have plans for working on the following stuff during the summer:

1) Chinese Entropy and Chinese English Entropy (Link: ["HlpLab/Projects/ConstantEntropyChinese"] )[[BR]] - continued from the independent study with Florian in the past spring semester.

2) Internship @ Center of Language and Speech Processing at Johns Hopkins University [[BR]] - June 22 - Aug 15 (Yes, I will be out of town in Baltimore)

3) Unfortunately I have to take a summer course before heading off to Baltimore, which leaves little time to do anything else.

design an experiment regarding whether subjects are more primable with the SuprisalPriming experiment depending on outside variables like whether they get a cookie or their money before hand or whether the Priming sentances are in loud or emotional voices.
