Our Xerox color laser printers will not work if you configure them using Windows "Standard TCP/IP Port" setting...they require LPD printing to function. This is not enabled by default in Windows, but it's easy enough to enable.
Windows 10
- In the search field in the bottom left corner of the desktop type in "Control Panel" and run the "Control Panel" app.
- Select the "Programs and Features" control panel.
- On the left side, click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
- In the resulting window, click on the "+" symbol next to "Print and Document Services".
- Checkmark the boxes next to "LPD Print Service" and "LPR Port Monitor".
- Click on OK to make the changes.
