BCS/CVS resources and remote access
There are three types of VPN (Virtual Private Network) accounts available to UR employees:
UR (River Campus) VPN - provides remote access capabilities to resources located on River Campus. Requires UR Duo two-factor authentication using NetID. Details can be found here: https://tech.rochester.edu/remote-access-vpn-tutorials/
"BCS-modified" UR VPN - a UR VPN account that's been modified to allow the user access to resources located behind the BCS departmental firewall. Requires UR Duo two-factor authentication using NetID. Details can be found here: https://tech.rochester.edu/remote-access-vpn-tutorials/. Once you have this operational, contact Chris Freemesser to have your account "BCS-modified".
URMC VPN - provides remote access capabilities to resources located within the Medical Center
