The department allows its members to create a personal website and optionally maintain it themselves.
- Members of CVS can either use the University's Web Content Management System (WCMS), or can create it themselves using what content creation tool they like (such as iWeb or Dreamweaver).
- Members of BCS do not have the option to use the WCMS.
- Members of both BCS and CVS can request that our webmaster maintain the page for them.

If you choose to create and maintain the site yourself, you need to upload your site to our server via an SFTP client (like Fetch, Cyberduck, or WinSCP) or a secure webpage. Please contact Chris Freemesser (cfreemesser@cvs.rochester.edu) to have your account created and instructions for use provided.
