The best programs to use:
- For deleting portions of sound files: Audacity
- For the most efficient work, use a mac. The mac version of audacity allows you to open multiple files for editing at once while the windows version will not.
- For recording voices: Praat or Audacity
- For finding VOT and the time difference between words: Transcriber or Audacity
- For making transparency maps for Poser: Photoshop
- For animations: Poser
- For still photos: Photoshop
