Priority 1: Susan's gesture studies. BR Tracking hand movements with colored balls in order to see if people react more to hand shape or the movement in gesture. 95% complete. ETC: Wednesday morning. BR

Priority 1a: Mikhail's recordings. Duration 1.5 hours. ETC: Tuesday afternoon.

Priority 2: Field Work in Mayan. BR Crafting Paradigms from existing videos. Making balanced sets of clips for when we go down. Prioritizing new videos to make. ETC: Saturday? BR

Priority 3: Automatic alignment in my phonological priming experiment.BR Meeting Wednesday with Florian, Andrew and Ting to get rough onset times for various phonologically similar words. BR

Priority 4: Neighborhood effects with Austin. BR I'm reading the Quomps now and I'm excited to work with you! BR

Priority 5: Learn some statistics. BR

Please note: I am also working ~15 hours a week in the BCS department office and ~8 hours a week at Kaplan Test Prep in the evenings so I do not have limitless time this summer. Just keep this in mind if you want a rush job, etc.

I have plans for working on the following stuff during the summer:

1) Chinese Entropy and Chinese English Entropy (Link: ["HlpLab/Projects/ConstantEntropyChinese"] )BR - continued from the independent study with Florian in the past spring semester.

2) Internship @ Center of Language and Speech Processing at Johns Hopkins University BR - June 22 - Aug 15 (Yes, I will be out of town in Baltimore)

3) Unfortunately I have to take a summer course before heading off to Baltimore, which leaves little time to do anything else.

But a plan is a plan, which is always changeable, and priorities are flexible.
