All Adobe software products require a subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud. There are two types of subscriptions available...personal subscriptions and device subscriptions.

A personal subscription is tied to an individual and can be installed on a desktop and a laptop used by that person, UR owned *or* personal, that are NOT used simultaneously. The cost of an individual Adobe program (like Photoshop or Illustrator) is $113.95. The cost for "Creative Cloud All Apps" (which would be the replacement for Adobe Design Studio, which included Photoshop/Illustrator/Acrobat Pro) is $259.95 with an annual renewal cost of $251.95/year. All licenses renew in February regardless of when you originally purchased it...new licenses are pro-rated to expire in February.

A device subscription is tied to an individual computer (with me as the contact person for all such subscriptions), and can only be installed on that single computer. Individual applications cannot be purchased with a device subscription...only the "Creative Cloud All Apps" option (which would be the replacement for Adobe Design Studio, which included Photoshop/Illustrator/Acrobat Pro). This is $259.95/year. Adobe suggests device subscriptions be purchased in quantities of 10, though this does not appear to be a requirement.

As of March 2023 perpetual-license version of Acrobat Pro is no longer an option.

As an FYI, there are some alternatives to Adobe products which some people find very acceptable (and are either free or much less expensive). The open-source GIMP image editor is a great replacement for Photoshop, and I've heard a lot of good things about the Affinity programs by a company called Serif:
