Then we'll spend some time dissussing this note on "How To Be A Successful Graduate Student". At the end, the ms lists related notes by other researchers (incl. researchers from other disciplines). Perhaps some of you could read one of those notes rather than this one. I am just curious what you think about the points brought forward in the ms (most are general, some I'd say are specific to CS, but I haven't yet read the complete note).
