Brother HL-L8260CDW printer setup instructions
These instructions are for configuring a computer to use the Brother HL-L8260CDWW color printer in the CVS Histology lab.
The address of this printer is 'cvs007a.urmc-sh.rochester.edu'.
Step 1: Enabling LPR/LPD support (WINDOWS USERS ONLY)
If you are running Windows, you need to make sure that LPD/LPR printing is enabled on your computer..it's disabled by default. The instructions for enabling it are here: EnableLpdPrinting
Step 2: Download the driver software
Visit this site to download the correct printer driver installation program for your platform:

Mac users: this installer is for OSX 10.11 and newer
Windows users: the package includes a driver for the all versions of Windows 7/10
Step 3: Add the printer to your computer
Windows 7
