Page updated 2019-12-09 by Janis.
This page is dedicated to the status of the analog DPI eye trackers and they're history. Please see Equipment-DPIEyeTracker for instructions on using and fixing the DPI. Testing instructions and records for DDPI.
Schedule
As of November 2019, Janis and Bin are responsible for monthly DPI tests.
Monthly DPI Baseline Tests
last updated 10/9/2018
Instructions: Full instructions for testing DPI - (last updated March 2018, regular testing does not need to be this intensive)
When it's your turn, schedule a time within the first week or so of the month, if you can. If you want to switch with anyone, you all can work that out on your own. The important parts are (1) that the tests get done every month and (2) that it's not always the same person having to do them.

Right still has high noise and low resolution. Oscillations in left DPI may be because right DPI was on during recordings. |

Cannot track artificial eye with Left DPI. Apparently have not been able to for some time. Human eye data looks good, so low concern at the moment. |

The 4th motor on the right DPI has been screaming for about a month now. Janis re-centered the 4th reflection using the IR scope and tightened the top screw. The source motor was also making clicking noises preventing the DPI from locking onto the 1st reflection but this went away after letting it rumble and wiggling the artificial eye around. |
