Photodiode

This remade photodiode operates exactly the same as the old one, but with the added feature of adjustable sensitivity.

ciruit layout

Move the jumper (the removable red object near the bottom-right of the board) to a different set of pins to the left or right.

There are 4 gain settings on this board. With increasing resistance corresponding to an increase in gain

1. 0 Ohm (gain=1)

2. 5.7M Ohm

3. 10M Ohm

4. 20M Ohm

So far, we've found 10M Ohm to be acceptable for our purposes
